Uche Scores Against Valencia

Super Eagles’ attacking midfielder, Kalu Uche was among the goal scorers for RCD Espanyol on Sunday when they thrashed Valencia 4-0 in the Spanish La Liga.

The Nigerian benefited from Victor Sanchez’s through ball 10 minutes from time to score the fourth goal of the game for Mauricio Pochettino’s team.

Cristian Gomez, Joan Verdu and Alvaro Vasquez were the other goal scorers for Espanyol.

The goal against Valencia is the fourth goal of the 29-year-old Nigerian since he joined Espanyol during the January transfer window.

Espanyol are closing in on a Europa League place, as they are now seventh with 45 points in the Spanish La Liga log.
