Lagos FA Cup: Crystal FC Dismiss COD United Threat
Chief Coach of A One Crystal Football Club, Jide Adebunmi, is optimistic his team will shock last year runners-up, City of David United, COD, when both teams clash this evening in the second round of the Lagos State Challenge Cup.
The encounter is expected to attract huge crowd and will hold at the FIFA Legacy Football Pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

He warned their opponents to prepare for the battle of their lives when they meet today.
“We are battle ready for Thursday’s match. It is going to be a tough encounter but I’m confident that we will come out victorious,” he said.
Reacting to Adebunmi’s outburst, former Captain of COD United, Solomon Manasseh, said they are not going to take their opponents for granted, but he is confident the better side will win the encounter.
“We are also ready for A One Crystal as we are in better form.It is unfortunate that they will be sent packing this evening”, Manasseh said.
Media Officer of Lagos State Football Association, Bunmi Ogunyale, expressed satisfaction over all the matches played so far at the tourney, but urged participating teams not to take the law into their hands during the games.
