Child Life-line Gets MTN Lifeline

The telecommunications giant, MTN lived up to its creed of educating and enriching people when Child Lifeline experienced its magnanimous impact through MTN’s television programme, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, recently.

Child Life-line is a voluntary association dedicated to the care of street children by providing shelter for them.

Child Life-line has a strong vision to positively direct the energy and natural endowments of street children in Nigeria into a more productive vocational channel. One of Child Life-line’s key objectives is to promote the care, well being and development of children in need, especially the deprived, abused, destitute and homeless.

It also provides counselling, education and vocational skills training for children and youths, enabling them to become self-supporting and independent.

The home has a number of respected retired civil servants on its board among who is Dr (Mrs) Jyte Oladapo, Danish widow of the late Professor Oladapo of University of Lagos who represented the Home in the hot seat of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. She was assisted by Bukky and Okechuku Ezeugo of Classic F.M. They won N500, 000 with an additional gift of a motorcycle during the popular television programme
