JCI World President Advises Youth

Nigerian youths have been advised to always seek ways to better their lives, environment and the entire world as a whole, rather than engage in social vices.

They were also advised not to engage in any form of terrorism or acts capable of bringing their names and the nation into disrepute.

Mr. Bertolt Deams, 2012 world president of Junior Chamber International, JCI, gave this advice, on Sunday, while addressing members of the Eko chapter of the association, who hosted him at Afe Babalola Hall, University of Lagos.

Deams said part of the club’s duty is to ensure that youths all over the world impact positively on the society by engaging in self-service and humanitarian projects.

He called on world leaders and government at all levels, to see the youths as vital tools in nation building and should always engage them so as to contribute their quotas.
