Wigan Want Moses To Stay

Roberto Martinez has told one-capped Super Eagles player, Victor Moses not to leave Wigan for now.

The winger’s agent, Tony Finnigan, claimed Moses will snub a new deal when his current contract expires next year.

A number of Premier League clubs are keen on the 21 year-old, who joined in 2010 for £2.5million from Crystal Palace.

Aston Villa chief scout Glenn Roeder was at the Emirates on Monday to see Moses help the Latics to a shock win over Arsenal.

However, boss Martinez said: “In the future, if he does the things that he has to do, he will be a top, top player.

“But I don’t think it is healthy to start talking about his possibilities and his future.

“I think Victor knows it and he is well aware to fulfil his potential he needs to work harder from now until the next 16 or 18 months.”
