Amuneke Tips Barcelona For Final

Former Nigeria international, Emmanuel Amunike has tipped his former club, Barcelona of Spain to play in the UEFA Champions League final, despite going into tonight’s second leg semi-final match at the Camp Nou with Chelsea of England with a 0-1 deficit.

He said the 1-2 loss to their archrivals, Real Madrid in the second leg of the el classico will have no effect, when they face Chelsea tonight.

The former Zamalek of Egypt winger, however added that Chelsea may shock Camp Nou with a goal from a counter attack, which may tilt the game in their favour if Barcelona fail to score an early goal.

“Chelsea are at advantage going into tonight’s game, but if they decide to defend throughout the game, it may backfire, especially if Barcelona get an early goal. It will be a very difficult game for both teams. But the question is will Chelsea be able to defend as they did during the first leg at Stamford Bridge? Barcelona lost the game due to ill-luck because they failed to convert the chances that came their way, but I believe Barca will make it to the final” he said.
