Motor Sport: Racing Eagles Make History In London

History was recently made at Brands Hatch in London when Team Nigeria unveiled their new Racing Eagle Audi R8 LMS.

According to www.flyernews.com, the exclusive launch, which was attended by a shortlist of media organisations, marked a momentous moment for Nigeria in the world of motorsport.

Racing Eagles will be competing in FIA GT3 series, a Grand Touring Series with super sportscars from top-end manufacturers such as Audi, McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Aston Martin, Ford GT, Porche and BMW.

They now join an elite list that use motorsport to showcase and promote the positivity of their nations on the world’s stage.

Unveiled to the world for the first time is the Racing Eagle Audi R8 LMS. The car will be driven by Nigerian drivers.

Team Nigeria will be flying Nigeria’s flag in FIA GT prestigious events across the world, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, United Kingdom, USA, China, Macau, Malaysia, Australia, Germany, Brazil and Lagos, Nigeria.

Team Nigeria is partnering with Adidas as official team wear and merchandise partner, and with a global audience of over 200 million worldwide, Nigeria Racing Eagle is about to soar.

At the launch, Ribi Adeshokan, Team Principal/Owner said: “This is a momentous moment for Nigeria that started as a dream which has now become a reality. We’ve been developing Team Nigeria for over five years, and the real journey has just begun.”
