Federal SARS Summons Police Officer, 6 Others Over Late Musician’s Land

The Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Abuja, has summoned to its office in Abuja a superintendent of police, three sons of oba of Oworonshoki and two others involved in the dispute over the land of a late female juju musician, Mrs. Oladunni Odugunwa, a.k.a, Decency.

P.M.NEWS gathered that Mr. Samuel Okuribido, the police officer at the Lion Building, Lagos, alleged to have bought the land illegally and commenced construction on it, was summoned by SARS to report to its office in Abuja on Wednesday to explain his involvement in the land dispute.

The Federal SARS team led by Inspector Umoru last Wednesday came to Lagos to intervene in the matter and while departing on Saturday ordered the three sons of the oba of Oworonshoki; Idris Saliu, Kabiru Saliu and Tunde Saliu, along with Suraju Lasisi, Sanni and Animashaun to report to its office in Abuja in order to explain their role in the matter.

The late female juju musician was said to have bought the land at 20, Ohamu Street, Oworonshoki, Lagos from Alhaji Mustapha Ajisegiri about 35 years ago.

But her children are alleging that the police officer and others summoned to Abuja by SARS want to forcefully take over the land from them.

They are now appealing to government and well meaning Nigerians to intervene in the matter.
