Debut Goal For 3SC Excites Tony

Tony Edjomariegwe said he was “very happy” to have scored on his debut for Shooting Stars on an away game but believes the most important thing is for the team to continue to gel.

The former Crown and Kwara United forward netted on his debut against Gombe United, when he beat two defenders and slotted a shot past goal keeper Timothy Nwachukwu in the 46th minute of the game. Tony said:“I’m very happy, very pleased to score my first goal wearing the club jersey, it is not always possible to play like that because your opponents’ wont let you.”

Tony, who wears jersey no 15, expressed his joy at moving to 3SC after previous attempts had failed.
