P.M.NEWS Wins Cricket Media Award

Your ever soar away evening newspaper, P.M.NEWS, was last weekend awarded the Most Supportive Media, (Print) by the Lagos State Cricket Association after the Season ending GTAssur T20 Cricket Championship.

The final of the 5th edition of the GTAssur T20 tournament was played last Sunday at the Cricket Oval of the Tafawa Balewa Square, TBS, Onikan, Lagos, and was won by BRF Cricket Club after defeating Government College, Ibadan, Old Boys Cricket Club.

Organisers of the competition said P.M.News won the Print award, while Unilag fmwon the electronic category.

Vice Chairman of Lagos State Cricket Association, Mr. Ephraim Barnaby, expressed appreciation for the support the competition and the association got from P.M.News before, during and after the competition.

“The association and the organisers of the GTAssur T20 tournament recognise the support of P.M.News and to appreciate this support, we are presenting a Plaque to the newspaper,” said Barnaby, who is also the tournament’s coordinator of the Club Cricket Committee, CCC, League.
