Djokovic Retains Top Spot

Novak Djokovic retained a big lead and there were no changes in the top 10 in the latest men’s tennis rankings issued on Monday by the ATP.

Djokovic takes 12,020 points into his Madrid Masters title defence this week, with Rafael Nadal second on 9,615 and Roger Federer third on 8,520.

1. (1) Novak Djokovic, Serbia, 12,020 points

2. (2) Rafael Nadal, Spain, 9,615

In the women’s ranking, Agnieszka Radwanska moved to a career-high third place behind Victoria Azarenka and Maria Sharapova .

Azarenka has 8,600 points to lead from Sharapova, who is not far behind on 8,260. Radwanska moved past Petra Kvitova with 6,750 points as all top players have gathered for the Madrid Masters.
