After evading arrests several times, the Managing Director of Skytouch Lotto in Ibadan, Mr. Olalekan Falodun, has finally been arrested by the police.

The Skytouch Lotto boss has been on the run since a petition was sent to the Office of the Inspector General of Police over failure of the lotto company to pay winners of his lotto game.

One of the winners subsequently sent a petition to the Inspector-General Police. The case was assigned to the Fraud Unit of the IG’s Office.

Falodun was arrested yesterday at one of his hideouts in Akure.

Police sources confirmed the arrest of the lotto boss, adding that he is being detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Akure.

“The IG is specially interested in this case as he is determined to reduce cases of fraud to the barest minimum,” the police source said.

Investigations revealed that several allegations of refusal to pay winnings had been levelled against the Skytouch Lotto boss but this time the petitioner sent his petition to the highest body.
