Upcoming R&B and Afro Hiphop act, Olaitan Usman Badmus, aka B’Lait the Lover Boi has released his debut single titled Lover Boi alongside its video clip.
Both are currently enjoying massive air play on television and radio stations across the country.
Speaking with P.M Entertainment, the Ibadan, Oyo State born studio engineer cum producer said his new collaborative effort with Reminisce, the Kako Bi Chicken crooner titled, D Way U Whyne will soon hit the air waves.
According to the 19 year old Lagos City Polytechnic undergraduate, “I started music some years back but professionally in the year 2000 and the journey has been so rough and tough but I give thanks to Almighty Allah for where I am now. Music has always been my ambition and that is why I love it with passion.
“So, I really take my time to figure out the kind of music that I can play for people to understand. Therefore, I chose to be an Afro Hip Hop artiste. Sometimes I could be Versatile. I’m not just a musician but also an instrumentalist. I play the keyboard too,” he said.
He added that he has worked with Dokta Frabz as a studio engineer for a year and that afforded him the opportunity to work with some notable Nigerian artistes.
