LG Electronics, a leading brand in electronics, has introduced a triple-SIM phone called LGA290 also known as LG TriP to the Nigerian market.
The Product and Marketing Manager, LG Mobile, West African Operations, Mr. J.S Yoo, said the LG TriP is a triple SIM one that has a 2.2-inch QCIF display with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels, along with a 1.3 megapixel camera with flashlight. As part of the specs, it also has a longer battery life of 1500 mAh that lasts for 15 hours and has fairly thin dimensions of 113.5 x 51 x 12.95mm. The LG TriP is already available in the Nigerian market.
Yoo said the LG TriP built on the platform of convenience and ecstasy offers a splendid experience as it gives the user the opportunity of three SIMs on the same phone without swapping SIMs or removing battery.
“This innovation makes the users have the power of three that guarantees the feel and experiential knowledge of the good life,” he said.
“The LG TriP has sound alerts type that comes with its uniqueness of vibration, MP3 ringtones, MP3/AAC+/WMA player and MP4/H.263 player. Added to this is its memory card slot of micro SD up to 4 GB beside its phonebook entries of up to 1000 storage capacity.
“LG TriP introduces an entirely new level to mobile functionality and possibilities.
