Following the recovery of her stolen car, a Hyundai IX on Friday, Fela’s daughter, Yeni Anikulapo-Kuti, has appealed to the robbers that attacked her to return her dog.
P.M.NEWS learnt that the pet dog, a Lasa Apso named Misha, was stolen with the car and some of Yeni’s belongings including money, lap top, telephone and other personal effects.
Speaking with P.M.NEWS, YK as Yeni is called by friends and admirers, said that though she has recovered her car “Misha is still missing.”
She said that the pet was a birthday present given to her two years ago and it has been her companion since then.
Yeni, who is so fond of the dog, said she is badly looking for it. “I really miss Misha and I hope she has not been killed or harmed by the robbers.”
She said that the robbery experience is something she would not wish to recur.
“It was a bad experience,” she said.
Our correspondent learnt that she was attacked last Thursday at Ojodu area of Lagos State on her way home from the New Afrika Shrine.
She was in company of her brother’s French producer when the robbers struck.
