You left VVV Venlo for CSKA Moscow in the Russian League because you want to play in the UEFA Champions League but your present club will now play in the Europa League, will you say you are satisfied?

Well I’m satisfied because we would still be playing in Europe next season.

You joined CSKA in the January transfer window, how will you summarise your stay in Russia?

The season was very tough, it was not so easy because sometimes you pick knocks but all together I want to thank God.

Are you entirely satisfied with your performance or you think you would have performed better?

I would have scored a number of goals in Russia but because of their style of play I couldn’t. It was my first season but I’m looking forward to the next season and I hope to do well.

In the coming weeks the Super Eagles will be engaged in a number of friendly games; World and Nations Cup qualifying matches, don’t you think fatigue could set in considering the number of games that most members of the team played, how prepared are you?

By the grace of God the month of June will be a successful month for Nigeria. We would put in our all to win all the games that we will play by the grace of God.
