Plans have been concluded by the Nigeria Wrestling Federation, NWF, to send seven male and seven female wrestlers to India on a training tour to ensure they perform well by winning medals for the country at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

This much was disclosed by Technical Director of the NWF, Daniel Igali on a radio programme yesterday.

Igali, who won gold medal for Canada at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, said the NWF and their counterpart in India had entered into an agreement early this year, that will enable Nigerian wrestlers who have qualified for the Olympics to go on tour of the Asian country.
