Nollywood actress, Doris Simeon will be swelling the ranks of television show hosts as she debuts soon with a brand new talk show, Faaji Xtra.
The new concept is a Yoruba television talk show where celebrities are invited as guests to talk about their jobs and how they unwind after their normal work schedule.
Notable artistes, politicians and business personalities have already graced the set of the show scheduled to hit television screens soon.
Speaking with Showbiz Trends, Doris said the idea is that of two young talented guys (Olaniyi Stephens and Adeleye Fagburo) based in Ibadan, Oyo State. “I was invited by the two producers. We met and they told me about their plans and what they intend to achieve with the programme. I believe God made it happen because I also love the broadcast media, so it’s just the favour of God,” the pretty actress explained.
She described her experience as TV show host as “wonderful, interesting and a learning process.”
Guests such as Oloye Lekan Alabi, Lere Paimo, Muyiwa Ademola and Dupe Jayesimi have made appearances on the show that is still recording.
It is learnt that the producers have been making arrangements and meeting some TV stations where they plan to air the talk show once they are ready.
