Come 2 June, the fun loving people of Ibadan, Oyo State, will get a taste of first class entertainment when the crew of Mavin Records including Dr. Sid, D’Prince and Tiwa Savage, lead the way as Harp Rhythm Unplugged berths in the city.
The music and comedy concert, scheduled to be ‘the biggest show ever’ to be hosted in the ancient city, is coming on the heels of the successful show held earlier in Port Harcourt, River State.
Billed to hold at the Jogor Centre, Liberty Bus Stop, Ring Road, Ibadan, the concert will also feature other music acts like W4, Chuddy K, Samklef, Rayce, Reminisce, Classico, Orezi, and Dipzle.
Comedians are not left out of the event. They will be represented by the likes of Apororo, Ebohmbon, Pencil, Ajebaba and Memory Card.
“It promises to be a real night of premium fun with Harp,” assured Cecil Hammond, CEO, Flytime Entertainment, the event promotion company.
The Harp Rhythm Unplugged concert in Ibadan is the fourth in the series of Harp-sponsored concerts. The maiden edition was held in Abuja last year. The second hosted in Lagos, was a double show, held in December 2011, while Port Harcourt, River State rocked in January 2012 as the last of the show.
