Lagos State hurdles Coach, Shina Alabi believes the state has what it takes to win at least two gold medals at the forthcoming National Sports Festival, holding in Lagos in November.
Speaking with P.M.Sports at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, venue of the hurdles event of the ongoing Ibile Games yesterday, Alabi said he has confidence in the women athletes to win gold medals in high jump and 400m hurdles. He noted that Ibile Games is being staged at the right time when the state is preparing for the National Sports Festival.
He told our reporter that the Commissioner for Sports, Mr. Enitan Oshodi, has assured to support the athletes with all logistics needed to do well in the festival.
The Ibile Games will end on Saturday with the football final and finals of some field events.
