An interim executives to oversee the affairs of Nigeria Pro Wrestling Federation has been appointed.
Heading the new interim executive is Alhaji Olanrewaju Mohammed a.k.a Prince HO, former intercontinental wrestling champion. Martins Udoagwa, a.k.a Mr. Original was appointed as the Secretary by the wrestlers at a meeting held at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos recently.
The new chairman was mandated to choose other members of his executive among the wrestlers whom he thinks he can work with in the next six months.
Alhaji Mohammed thanked his colleagues for giving him the chance to lead the federation. He called on the wrestlers to give him the support to succeed in the new assignment, adding that he cannot succeed without them.
“This is a crucial moment in the history of the pro wrestling federation and I believe we would survive the challenges the sport is facing in the country. However, I want to assure everybody that I will not disappoint the confidence repose in me by the grace of Allah,” he said.
