Shalom Football Club of Ikotun have assured their fans of good outing at the first edition of Otepa Soccer Championship, which kicks off on Saturday at the Ejigbo Sports Centre.
The competition, organised by the Ejigbo Youth Football Association, will feature 32 teams. The opening match will be played between Shalom FC and Image FC of Aboru.
On their preparation for the championship, Team Manager of Shalom, Ajibola Oniru told P.M.Sports that they have prepared well for the tourney.
“We are fully ready for the competition and with what I saw in training, my team will go far in the championship,” said Oniru after their training at the Idimu Isheri Community Primary School, Lagos.
Chief Coach of the club, Lekan Fatoki charged his players to play the game according to instructions, saying that anything short of victory in their opening match will be a setback.
