The grand finale of the Lagos State Sports Festival, tagged Ibile Games 2012 will hold tomorrow at the Teslim Balogun Stadium with the Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fasola (SAN) declaring the tournament closed.
The games, which have witnessed a lot of last minute efforts from various Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas to improve on their status on the medals table, will be rounded off with the finals of the athletics and football events.
Meanwhile, Yaba LCDA, continues its dominance at the games with 65 gold, 32 silver and 39 bronze medals to retain its position at the top of the medals table.
However, the excellent performance of the Lagos Island team in the track and field events has shot them to the second place on the medals table with 64 gold, 51 silver and 47 bronze medals.
