Hall Of Fame: Peter Vows To Batter Ochoima

Garden City Games female gold medalist, Kate Peter, has vowed to pummell to defeat Oluchi Ochoima when the two boxers trade puches tomorrow at the 3Ist Monthly Saturday Boxing Show billed for Mobolaji Johnson Sports Centre, Rowe Park, Lagos.

Peter, who will represent Golden Weapon Boxing Club, will take on Ochoima of Prestige Boxing Club in the 69kg category.

In a chat with Boxing In Focus, the pugilist said that she will win the bout, adding that she has more experience in the ring than Ochoima.

“I will surely beat Oluchi to submission when I face her tomorrow. She doesn’t have any chance against me because I am a more superior fighter than her,” said Peter.

In other bout of the event, Dauda Azeez of D&D Boxing Club will take on Salaudeen Nurudeen of NPF Boxing Club in the 49kg category while Oluwo Kazeem of Star Boxing Club will test his strength against Amusa Tajudeen of NPF Boxing Club in the 56kg category.

Ibile 2012 gold medalist, Otto Joseph of Paramount Boxing Club will trade punches with Taofeek Ibrahim of Champion Boxing Club in the 60kg category and Rilwan Oladosu of Ajetunmobi Boxing Club will take on Kolawole Mosudi of Jodan Boxing Club in the 60kg category.

A 2011 Repton Versus Lagos champion, Olaide Fijabi of Star Boxing Club will try to outpunch Abua Christian of Paramount Boxing Club in the 64kg category while two female boxers, Margaret Udo of Risadept Boxing Club and Mistura Oladele of Champion Boxing Club will confront eachother in the 52kg category.

Two kid boxers, Wahab Kukoyi of The Grace Nursery and Primary School and Adeleke Gafari of Michael Nursery and Primary School will showcase their talents in an exhibition bout in the 35kg category while the duo of Muri Sango of Eletu Boxing Club will get into the squared rope with Muri Lasisi of Glorious Boxing Club in the 81kg category.

The last bout of the event will involve Gabriel Francis of Champion Boxing Club trading punches with Segun Ibrahim of Warrior Boxing Club in the 91kg.
