Banker, Basirat receives pmnewsnigeria.com prize
One of the winners of P.M.News’ Predict And Win Competition, Mrs. Basirat Adekola, on Thursday, 31 May, 2012, received her $250 cash prize.
P.M.News’ lawyer, Benjamin Umudjoro presented the cash prize to Mrs. Adekola, who was accompanied to the Corporate Headquarter of the
company at Acme Road, Agidingbi in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
Mrs. Adekola, a staff of GT Bank in Apapa area of Lagos State, Nigeria, was among the four participants, who predicted accurately the scoreline
of the UEFA Champions League final match, which Chelsea of England won 4-3 against Bayern Munich of Germany at the Allianz Arena in Munich,
Germany.
She is the third of the four winners to receive her prize, as Adegbenle Adedapo and Wasiu Adeoti received their prizes of $250
each at P.M.News office earlier on Monday, 28 May, 2012.
After collecting her $250 cash prize, the banker said she was not eager to make the claims when she was informed she had won, as she doubted the promo.
“I am so happy because I never believed that the promo could be real. Infact, I was sceptical when my husband and I wanted to make the predictions,
as I thought nothing could come out of it even if we predicted the outcome of the match correctly,” Mrs Adekola told our reporters.
“My colleagues in the office even advised me not to come because they were scared that it might be a group of fraudsters, who might be trying to play a fast one on me. But now I will tell them when I return to the office that the P.M.News’ Promo is real and I’m now a proud winner of $250, which I will show them.”
Her proud husband, Mr. Adekola also expressed his appreciation to the management of P.M.News and appealed to the company to make the promo a regular affair.
Meanwhile, only the fourth winner, Orisakwe Adeline is yet to show up for his prize.
