F/Eagles Coach's Home Burgled

The Abuja home of Flying Eagles’ assistant coach, Samuel Abimbola, was allegedly burgled yesterday morning.

Abimbola, who was away on official duty with the Nigeria U-20 team in South Africa for the Cape Town International Challenge told MTNFootball.com that his family were away at Sunday service when the incident happened.

“My house in Area 11 in Abuja was swept clean by robbers while my family members were away in church on Sunday,” reported Abimbola.

“My wife has since reported the incident to the police.”

“She informed me that nothing of value was left in the house after it was forced open by the burglars.”

Abimbola said he was shocked by the incident, as he lives in a block of 24 flats in the centre of the capital city.
