This year’s edition of the Zenith Bank-sponsored Nigerian Women’s Basketball League will come to an end at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, tomorrow with a match up between the current champions, First Deepwater Basketball Club and former champions, First Bank Club both of Lagos.

The match is the final of the ongoing third phase of the 2011/2012 league season that dunked off in Kaduna and followed up with the second phase held in Akure, with the Lateef Erinfolami-tutored Deepwater remaining unbeaten so far this season.

Speaking ahead of the crucial tie that pundits have already tagged “Clash of the Titans”, the former national team player said: “Despite being sure of retaining the title we won for the last two years, we will be playing against First Bank like we have done in every other game we’ve played this season.
