Henry Presents Cowbell Trophy

Henry Tetteh-Djangmah, the 2012 champion of the National Cowbell Cycling Tour of Ghana presented his trophy to John Kwao Sackey, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Ga East Municipal Assembly in Accra.

The national best cyclist, who is also the defending champion of the 2011 Cowbell Cycling Tour, is a member of the Die Hard Cycling Club, based in the Ga East Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

The two-week National Cowbell Cycling Tour of Ghana took the original 72 cyclists from 12 Cycling Clubs on 11 Stages through eight Regions of Ghana, from the Greater Accra through the Central, Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Northern, Eastern, Volta and back to the finishing point at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra.

Sackey pledged the Ga East Municipal Assembly’s readiness to support the effort of the Die Hard Cycling Club to win more laurels and trophies and appealed to members of the club to be dedicated and assist in the development of their communities.
