At the event held at the Cultural Centre, Abeokuta, Ogun State, the trio bagged Best Comic, Best Actor in Leading Role and Best Actress in Supporting Role awards.
Others are Funke Akindele, Best Actress in Leading Role; Adebayo Salami, Best Actor in Supporting Role; Kelvin Ikeduba and Richado Agbor, Best Cross Over Actors; Gabriel Afolayan, Most Promising Act and Corporate pictures, Best Marketer.
Isese got the Best Cultural Movie award, Emi Abata, Achievement in Sound; Ise, Achievement in Cinematography; Abbey Lanre, Best Director and Saheed Osupa, Musician in Acting Role.
Lere Paimo a.k.a Eda, Tunde Kelani, Moses Olaiya a.k.a Baba Sala, Idowu Phillips a.k.a Mama Rainbow, the late Herbert Ogunde, Adeyemi Afolayan and Alade Aromire also bagged YMAA honours.
The event was attended by the wife of Ogun State governor, Olufunso Amosun, Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Ogun State, Chief Olu Odeyemi, and other top government functionaries ,actors and actresses including , Teju Kareem of Zmirage, former president, ANTP, Prince Jide Kosoko, Ebun Oloyede a.k.a Olaiya Igwe, Kunle Afolayan, Madam Kofo, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Lanre Omiyinka a.k.a Ijesha, Kafilat Kafidipe and her sister, Femi Adebayo, Yinka Quadri and others.
The event was anchored by Adewale Dada and another female broadcaster.
The Executive Producer, Tunde Oshinibosi a.k.a Laface, thanked the Governor of Ogun State, members of his executive and others with a promise to improve on this yearís edition.
Chairman of Corporate Pictures, Rasaq Abdulahi, who won the Best Marketer award told P.M.Entertainment in a telephone chat that the award has given credence to the performance of Corporate Pictures “and shows that we are doing what our people want, with this we will not rest on our oars.”
Ismail Ajibola Ajibola of Solo Films, whose movie, Taloba, gave Odunlade Adekola victory, thanked God for the awards, saying; “This victory will make us work hard.”
