Segun Oseni, the producer of television drama, The Couples, has intensified his quest to put smile on the faces of the less-privileged children in the society by organising a Children’s Day gig at the Heart of Gold Hospice, Surulere, Lagos.
The actor cum producer recently visited Heart of Gold where he made donations to disabled and abandoned children with different life-threatening ailments at the charity home.
Supported by GSK, makers of Ribena, the event was graced by selected school children as well as notable celebrities and movie stars.
Celebrities such as Niyi Nosh and Lizzy Ozoru were in attendance to party with the children and present cash and other gift items including Ribena drinks to the excited kids.
In the words of Segun Oseni: “We thank God for the opportunity that we have enjoyed so far. It is with joy that we share this token with them. We pray to God to be able to do more sooner than later. We thank GSK, makers of Ribena for supporting this event. We thank our stars for sparing time to be with these little special stars.”
He urged Nigerian celebrities to cultivate the habit of visiting at least one charity home in a year. This, he said, will cheer the children and make them feel loved.
