The management of 3SC is planning to storm Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, with over 1,000 buses filled their fans to boost the morale of the players for the midweek Nigeria Premier League, NPL, match against Sunshine Stars of Akure tomorrow at the Dipo Dina Stadium.
The management of the club said: “We are ready to descend on Ijebu Ode with over 1,000 buses, which will convey our supporters and officials. People know us to be peace loving and mature football lovers. We are not going there to cause trouble but to let the people know that Shooting Stars are truly back.”
3SC however warned those they described as fake fans to stay away from their camp. “We heard reports that some fake fans will be used to cause trouble in the middle of the game putting on 3SC jerseys. The club management is using this opportunity to warn whoever had such plans.
Meanwhile, the NPL has turned down Sunshine’s request to play the game behind closed doors. Sunshine had earlier written to the NPL to grant the request, to stop 3SC fans from entering the stadium.
