The management of NTA Star TV Network, owners of StarTimes, has assured its subscribers of its commitment to providing quality digital television viewing at affordable price.
In a statement signed by its publicity manager, Mr. Celestine Umeibe, the company noted that affordability remains a major factor in the success of digital migration in Nigeria, hence its commitment at ensuring that every Nigeria can afford its services.
“We believe that affordability is a major factor in the successful migration from analogue broadcasting to digital broadcasting. As the pioneer in the DTT operations in Nigeria, we can boast of wider network coverage area, improved signals and more local contents. StarTimes is equally assuring Nigerians of more new cities coverage in the year, with more quality contents, both international and local contents at an affordable cost’’
The statement further said that beside providing quality contents at affordable price, Startimes is also committed to providing a reliable platform, using the DTT technology for migration from analogue to digital broadcasting.
StarTimes currently has over 500,000 subscribers base in six cities across the country. It bouquets come with over 55 channels carefully selected to target different user needs such as news, documentaries, live sports, entertainment, kids and education.
