Professor Gbadamosi Delivers OOU Inaugural Lecture

Professor Muhammad Mikail Olasunkanmi Gbadamosi will on Thursday 21 June deliver the inaugural lecture at Olabisi Onabanjo University of Ago Iwoye.

He will speak on ‘Nigerian Education: Failing To Plan, Planning to Fail’ at the Otunba Gbenga Daniel Lecture Theatre of the University.

Gbadamosi, 55, is the Dean Faculty of Education of the university and simultaneously heads the Department of Educational Management and Business Education.

After his secondary education at Muslim College Ijebu-Ode in 1975, he went to Methodist Teachers’ College, Sagamu, and the Advanced Teachers’ College, Surulere, where he obtained the NCE qualification in 1981.

His thirst for more knowledge brought him to Olabisi Onabanjo University, then known as Ogun State University in 1986 for a bachelor’s degree, which he completed in 1989. He obtained the masters degree of the same university in 1991 on educational management. Eight years after, he got a doctorate in the same subject at University of Lagos, Akoka. He became a professor in 2007.
