Campari Rewards Consumers, Traders
Consumers and sellers of Campari were recently rewarded with prizes by the management of Brian Munro Ltd, sole marketers of Campari in Nigeria, in the just concluded Campari Dare to Mix Promo.
At the grand finale of the promo held last week, Mr. Michael Oyidi from Port Harcourt won the star prize of a brand new 2012 Kia Rio.
The Campari Trade & Consumer Promo, which took place across five cities in Nigeria; Aba, Onitsha, Warri, Port Harcourt and Lagos lasted for eight weeks, .
Other prizes like deep freezers, generators and Nokia phones were won by traders, while Blackberry phones and iPads were won by consumers in the promo.
The Managing Director of Brian Munro, Mr. Paul Wilson, disclosed that Campari originated from Italy and has been in existence since 1860. “It is an alcoholic spirit obtained from the infusion of bitter herbs, aromatic plants and fruits in alcohol and water. This is what produces Campari’s distinct colour, aroma and flavour”
He explained that Campari has always been a symbol of passion that expresses itself in terms of seduction and sensuality. “These are the values that have made the Campari brand famous as an icon of Italian style and excellence, which explains why Campari is currently being served in over 250 cocktails throughout the world.”
Campari Brand Manager, Mr. Victor Ikem, stated that the brand has come to stay in the country.
He said the product has become a household name among cocktail consumers in Nigeria.
According to him, “I believe our customers deserve even more prizes because their loyalty has been unquestionable over the years. But plans are in place to continue to tell our consumers thank you,” he promised.
He further revealed that the company has put measures in place to ensure that consumers get maximum enjoyment from Campari, while at the same time encouraging them to drink responsibly.
