Sunshine Stars Ready For Warri Wolves—Ogunbote

Still counting the points his team dropped when they played a goalless draw against Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC of Ibadan on Wednesday in Ijebu ode, Coach of Sunshine Stars of Akure, Gbenga Ogunbote said that his team would ensure that they win their away match at Warri Wolves tomorrow.

The Ondo State-sponsored team failed to convert their chances in the midweek game of the Nigeria Premier League played at Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode on Wednesday, as they shared points with the Oluyole Warriors, who came to the stadium with thousands of their fans.

Ogunbote said the loss was a temporary setback for his team, but will be out to ensure that this weekend’s match is different at Warri Wolves tomorrow.

“It’s so sad that we drew a match we could have won at home. This is not the end of the world for us, we are going to Warri on Saturday (tomorrow) and I want to assure our fans, who were disappointed today (Wednesday) that we’ll make them happy when we meet Warri Wolves,” said Ogunbote, whose team are in Group A of the CAF Champions League against the likes of Esparance Sportive de Tunis,  ASO Chlef and ES Sahel.
