Hall Of Fame Show: Boxers Set Rowe Park Aglow

Boxing fans in Lagos State will be treated to exhilarating moments tomorrow as amateur boxers engage in fisticuffs at the 32nd Monthly Saturday Boxing Show slated for the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Centre, Rowe Park, Lagos.

The event, which has tilted in favour of raising future champions, will involve two primary school students, Taiwo Jamiu and Kehinde Jamiu of Ilogbo Primary School, trading punches in an exhibition fight in 35kg category.

In other bouts of the event, Sodiq Osupa of Aso Rock Boxing Club will take on Lateef Adebayo of Ola-Akin Boxing Club in 54kg category while Abdullahi Balogun of Brithes Boxing Club will step in the ring with Lukmon Kazeem of Badagry Boxing Club in the 56kg category.  The duo of Sikiru Fatai of Police Boxing Club will slug it out with Sunday Nkama of Star Boxing Club in the 56kg category while Samuel Opaogun of Young Star Boxing Club will put his strength to the test against Taiwo Olowu of Diamond Boxing Club in the 64kg category.

The only female bout of the event will involve Modinat Adeniyi of Champion Boxing Club and Tawa Awise of No Shaking Boxing Club, doing battle in 52kg category, while Taiwo Oyegunwa of Faleke Boxing Club will face Michael Oriyomi of Blessed Boxing Club in the 69kg category.

Ibraheem Owoiya of Kamlat Boxing Club will engage in fisticuffs with Muri Apanpa of Star Boxing Club in 75kg category while Sodiq Amoo of Blessed Boxing Club will take on Adeosun Sulaiman of Badagry Boxing Club in the 80kg category. The last bout of the event will involve the duo of Godwin Ambrus of Brithes Boxing Club and Sunday Okoro of D & D Boxing Club as they trade punches in the 90kg category.

The event is packaged by the Lagos Boxing Hall of Fame, LBHF in conjuction with Lagos Amateur Boxing Association, LABA.
