Nigerian professional boxer, Gift Cole has boasted that he would take American pugilist, Timothy Bradley to the cleaners, if he has the chance to square up with him in the ring.
Cole, who recently returned from the US, told Boxing in Focus at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos that he had the opportunity of watching Bradley’s recent fight with Manny Pacquiao and he believes he can stand up to him anyday.
According to his assessment, Bradley performed badly despite winning the bout through judges’ split decisions.
Cole noted that there was nothing impressive in Bradley’s fight and hopes that he gets a chance to fight him someday.
The Nigerian boxer disclosed that he was supposed to have a fight in the United States, “but the fight could not take place due to an unforeseen circumstance.
“I pray that another fight being put together for me with a yet to be named opponent will come up in August.”
Cole, however, wished Nigerian boxers to the London 2012 Olympic Games a successful outing.
