Team Nigeria Get Official Food Partner

The Nigeria Olympic Committee, NOC has named Mr. Biggs, Nigeria’s fast food, the official food partner of Team Nigeria for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The Divisional Managing Director, Derrick Van Houten, said ‘our strategic partnership with the Nigeria Olympic Committee is defined by our support to the body in several ways’’.

He stated further “Mr. Biggs will exclusively cater for all pre-Olympic events holding in Nigeria as well at providing their tasty products at the Olympic day run event holding in almost all the states of the federation”.

He explained that the fast food is currently being used to sell the NOC promotion tickets which will take some Nigerians to the UK to watch the games.

Marketing Manager, Nnenna  Azuka-Onwuka said “it’s only natural for the first choice in the fast food industry to be Mr. Biggs, given the brand unparalleled heritage and footprints in the country. The NOC is proud with us and Mr. Biggs family is elated at this achievement, we are grateful to the NOC and to Nigerians for this opportunity to serve”.

Derrick also commended the NOC under the leadership of Sani Ndanusa for taking up the challenging task of organising Nigeria’s participation at the Olympic Games.
