Union Bank Head Coach, Samson Ajayi, told P.M.Sports that his team are in great shape to win the league, adding that the teams are unstoppable at the moment.

“As far as I am concerned, Union Bank have already won the league because I can’t see any club coming to overtake us at this stage. Our male and female teams are very strong and our players are the best in the country,” he boasted.

Ajayi, a part-time coach in the camp of Team Lagos, who are preparing for the National Sports Festival billed to hold in the state later in the year, said that some Union Bank players are better than most Nigerian players who are playing in Europe.

“Some Nigerian players who are plying their trades in Europe were well beaten by my players whenever they come home on holidays. This is a proof that our players are good and well-tutored even though they are local players,” he said.
