Keshi: Eagles Fear No Foe, As N/Cup Draws Hold Today

Chief Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi, says his team fear no opponents as the draws for the final round of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier hold today in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Keshi said the Eagles are ready for any team that makes it to the last stage of the qualifying series, boasting that he was confident that he would make it to the Nations Cup proper.

Meanwhile, former Nigerian manager, Adegboye Onigbinde, told SuperSport.com that Nigerians should not lose sleep over the 2013 Nations Cup opponents when the draws are held tonight.

He said the immediate concern should be to prepare for every opponent. “There won’t be special or cheap group, every team or country that gets to this stage must have merited it. I never prepared my team specifically for any team but teams.

“We need not lose sleep over the draws and opponents but to prepare for any eventuality. Putting in place strong and fit players should be our focus.”
