Head Coach of the Golden Martial Art Academy, Henry Kurumeh, has said that the coming Abuja National Classic in August is an opportunity for karatekas in the academy to upgrade themselves.

The annual event  is one of the means by which the Karate Federation of Nigeria, KFN, promotes karatekas in the country by upgrading them from a lower belt to a higher belt.

In a chat with P.M.Sports, Kurumeh, said all the karatekas in the academy are working hard to gain promotion at the classic.

“I am happy and excited that some of our karatekas will be in Abuja to take part in the classic in August. It will be a great opportunity for them to gain promotion by moving from a lower cadre to a higher one,” said Kurumeh.
