NCE Student Hangs Self

Agbo Raymond, an NCE 11 student of College of Education, Oju in Benue State, has committed suicide.

P.M.NEWS learnt  that the student  was found dead hanging on the ceiling of his room last Sunday morning where he lived off campus without  a suicide note.

P.M.NEWS further learnt that the  student who hails from  Ogbadibo Local Government Area had arrived school a day to his death complaining of incomprehensible affliction after which he was later lulled into sleep by his school mates.

It may have be the afflictions that led to frustration and his decision to take his own life. Reacting to the unfortunate , Acting Provost of the institution, Peter Shirga described the incident as most unfortunate and advised students living off campus to always channel their grievances to the appropriate quarter for assistance instead of resorting to committing suicide.

Chairman of the local government, David Odeh who expressed shock over the incident, urged the Police to commence  investigation with the hope to unravel the cause of the unfortunate incident

When contacted the Police Deputy Public Relations Officer , Mr  Alaribe Ejike told PMNEWS that the Oju Police Divisional Office will be contacted over the incident.
