Recently, the main auditorium of the University of Lagos played host to movie lovers who trooped out to see Unwanted Guest, a Nigerian movie shot on the streets of New York.

The special screening that had scores of Nollywood stars in attendance was brought to the academic community for the students and talents in the institution who the producers of the movie hoped to tap.

The high point of the event was the endorsement of the movie by some stars in attendance, especially Joseph Benjamin.

The cast of the movie include Chet Anekwe (Ike), Sophy Aiida (Ify) and Leigh Ann-Rose, who played the part of Nicky, among others. The flick revolves around a Nigerian man (Ike) who suddenly finds that he has bitten more than he can chew when he falls in love with two gorgeous women —one, his wife (Ify) in Nigeria and the other, his American girlfriend (Nicky). His Nigerian wife, who wins the United States lottery, decided to pay him a surprise visit on his birthday in New York, while his American sweetheart also plans to surprise him with the news of being pregnant for him on the same day. This created a puzzle and unfolds the pulsating drama in the flick directed by Daniel Ademiokan with Katung Adwak, as director of photography.
