Fasuba Gets Protocol Job In London

Africa’s fastest man, Nigeria’s Olusoji Fasuba will be at the London 2012 Olympics but, if you are expecting to see him on the tracks, you are wrong as he would be working in the protocol department.

The Ekiti State-born athlete, who also has Jamaican blood flowing in him told athletics weekly in an online chat that he would neither be an athlete nor a spectator but his work would be to ensure that things go on as planned.

The Olympic bronze medallist and an indoor 60m world champion, who enlisted in the Royal Navy early this year said that he is meant some of the athletes that would represent Nigeria at the Olympics but he can’t predict any of the medal hopefuls.
