Rahman told NollywoodReel that at 56, he is fulfilled, adding that several phone calls and birthday wishes he received from fans and colleagues is a confirmation of the impact he has made in the industry.
During his 55th birthday last year, members of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, honoured him with a bash held at Plantation Bar, owned by popular film director, Chico Ejiro. It was attended by the crème-de-la-crème of the motion picture industry.

“He is one of the most influential and consistent personalities that have been paddling the affairs of the AGN for many years now. It is an honour well deserved.”
In a telephone chat with NollywoodReel, the elated Rahman said: “I felt so honoured. One thing I have learnt is that it is good to be a good person. At 56, I feel fulfilled and have no regrets. You need to know what it feels like to attain this age in life hale and hearty. God has been wonderful to me.”
