Lawmakers, Others Salute Oshiomhole

Two members of the House of Representatives, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and a local government chairman in Lagos State have congratulated Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State on his victory in last Saturday’s governorship election in the state.

James Abiodun Faleke, member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives; his counterpart from Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency 2, Hakeem Abiodun Muniru; member representing Lagos Island Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly; and Chairman of Odi-olowo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Adeyemi Alli; were unanimous in their statements that the Comrade Governor has proved that his strict implementation of the people-oriented programmes of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN)  endeared him to the people of Edo State and they have rewarded him with overwhelming votes for another term.

“The result of the election has shown that Nigerians are in love with our great party, ACN. There is no doubt that Oshiomhole’s strict implementation of our party’s programme has impressed the people of Edo State and they have rewarded him with massive votes for a second term. I congratulate him, our National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other leaders of the party. This is a victory for good governance and we are all happy about it,” Faleke said.

Muniru said: “Oshiomhole’s victory gladdens our hearts. In fact, it is a good omen for us in the ACN. I know this is a good sign for us as our great party gets set to take over Ondo State, come October. I will like to congratulate not only Oshiomhole but also the entire leadership of our great party from the National Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to all leaders of the party at the state and national level. This is a victory worth celebrating.”
