Singing sensation Davido has released his debut album, O.B.O (Omo Baba Olowo) Genesis. The new work, already on various music stores shelves across the country, will be officially presented at the album launch concert coming up Sunday 22 July at the Expo Hall of the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The 16-track album features the young singer’s debut single Back When featuring Naeto C. It will also include chart topper Dami Duro, love song Ekuro and his latest single Overseas featuring his HKN label mate Sina Rambo.
It also includes collaboration with other top Nigerian singers including 2Face Idibia, Ice Prince, May D, B-Red and Kay Switch.
The album launch gig is put together by Davido’s HKN Entertainment in association with Cecil Hammond’s Flytime Entertainment.
An official of Flytime told Showbiz Trends that the concert will wow the audience with choreography, props and entertainment plus.
He said the concert will feature all the artistes who collaborated with Davido in the album, especially 2Face, Wizkid, Naeto C and Ice Prince. Also performing are May D, Iyanya, Chuddy K, Flavour, Tilla Man, Rayce and KC.
Besides fulfilling his obligations as MTN Brand Ambassador and attending school, Davido has been working hard on this highly anticipated debut album.
