In line with its usual tradition, the Lagos Boxing Hall of Fame (LBHF) is skipping the July edition of the Saturday Monthly Boxing Show, in view of the fact that the date falls in the holy month of Ramadan.
This move not only facilitates Muslim boxers’ participation in the mandatory fast, it equally removes the potential dangers of boxers being tempted to try to compete, while fasting.
The show resumes on Saturday, 25 August, ahead of the annual Lagos A.B.A vs Repton tournaments which will come up in September.
