Ilorin will host the return leg match of the 2013 African Youth Championship (AYC) qualifier between Nigeria and Tanzania on 11 August, an official said on Sunday in Abuja.

Audu said the Kwara Government had accepted to host the game with assurances of warm reception and provision of all necessary facilities.

“The State Sports Commissioner, Mr Kayode Towoju, has already conveyed their approval to us, and he has described the development as a honour to the state.

“He also said they (Kwara) are very delighted and honoured to stage the match, and promised a most befitting time for the national team,” Audu said.

NAN reports that Nigeria’s Flying Eagles would tackle their Tanzania counterparts in the first leg of the qualifier, scheduled for July 29 in Dar es Salaam.
