Lawmaker Appeals For Information On Missing TV Presenter

The lawmaker representing Lagos Island Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Wahab Alawiye-King, has appealed to people with information on the missing Islamic television presenter, Alhaji Razak Aremu Gawat, to assist the security agency with such information.

Alawiye-King stated that it is disheartening that the presenter has not been seen or found since he disappeared about a week ago. “This is the time to show love to the family and one way we can do this is to assist with information where necessary which can lead to the safe return of Alhaji Gawat,” the lawmaker said.

According to him, all hands must be on deck to ensure that the popular presenter return home safely to his family. “The governor of the state, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, has taken the positive step in offering incentive to people who offer useful information that can lead to Gawat’s safe return and I hope this will go a long way in assisting the police in locating his whereabouts,” he said.

While praying for the safe return of Gawat, Alawiye-King commended his family for their steadfastness and urged them not to lose faith but have hope in God that their breadwinner will return home safe and sound.
